Melissa Blackmore: Office Manager, Insurance Coordinator
Melissa joined the Dentistry by Design team in 2008. Through various positions and continuing education Melissa has honed her skills and has a passion for dentistry. Melissa helps to create an exceptional office environment. She genuinely cares about the patient experience from the moment they walk in the door. She loves getting to know each patient and family that she meets. Melissa enjoys the outdoors, traveling, watching soccer, and spending time with her husband and 2 kids.
Darlene Byrd: Registered Dental Assistant
Darlene has been in the dental field since 1991 and has worked in almost every aspect of dentistry. Darlene joined our team in 2005 and enjoys being part of such a great team. Helping people is what she loves about her job. Darlene cares for her patients as though they were family. Outside of work, her life revolves around her husband and children.
Christie Williams: Registered Dental Assistant
Christie has been with the practice since February of 2004 and considers herself a people person. Christie enjoys talking with the patients and making them as comfortable as possible throughout their visit. When she is not working, Christie enjoys crafting, drawing, and spending time with her family.
Lorie White: Registered Dental Hygienist
Lorie joined our team in May of 2008 as a dental hygienist. Lorie enjoys working with patients of all ages and giving them a reason to smile. Outside of work, Lorie enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. Go Vols!
